A Redbox is a vending machine that dispenses movies. You can get movies to rent and take them home for one day then return them for only $1.00. You get a very small tax added to it. But, hey, for $1.00 that is a pretty good deal. The movies available have been out for awhile. But for a family to stay home with a good movie and make their own popcorn you just can't beat it.
Redboxes are usuallly found at McDonalds, Walmart, and Albertsons. They are easy to use. You just touch Rent a DVD screen and select your movie then add to cart then slide your debit card or whichever card you want to use. The movie will come out of the box out of the slot on the right.
To return the movie, you just push the Return DVD screen and when it tells you, you put the movie back in the same slot it came out of, and just make sure you point the arrow on the case in the right direction and that it is closed properly before returning the movie.
It is a very inexpensive way to get a movie rental. If you forget to return the movie, it will charge your card $1.00 plus tax for each day it is out. After 24 days you own the movie. So, if you don't want to get charged extra, make sure to take it back.
Make sure to go to their website and read the terms and conditions so you know all the details before renting and to find one near you.
